Slide, Negative and Photo Scanning

For 35mm slides, 35mm negatives (whole strips) and 5x7 loose photos, we offer a discount for bulk amounts, in excess of 250 scans. For every scan over 250, deduct $0.15 per scan and scans over 400 deduct $0.25 per scan.

Negatives (pricing is per negative frame, NOT per strip)
Scan all frames in strip		35mm	Price is per frame within each strip, (not per whole strip) and for scanning all frames within each strip. If you require selected frames within a strip the individual pricing below will apply. Includes all types/brands of 35mm negatives. Negatives must be in reasonable condition. Photographs

Scanning Options and Surcharges (price per scan or image)
Upgrade to High resolution scan from standard resolution			Increase scanning resolution. Actual scanning resolution dependent upon original film format - see scanning pages for more information.		add $0.70
Supply TIFF images as well as JPG format			We normally supply JPEG images but you have the option of requesting the scanned images to be supplied in TIFF format.		add $0.30
Cleaning Surcharge for heavily soiled slides, negatives and photos			Heavily soiled or damaged slides, negatives and photos may require cleaning prior to scanning or additional digital blemish removal. Photofresh will advise if required. Final results will depend upon the condition of the original.		add $0.40
Surcharge for Glass-mounted slides			Glass mounted slides may require removal of the slide from the mount and remounting in a plastic mount to ensure a good quality scan.		add $0.50

Photo Restorations

Repair, enhancement and restoration of old and damaged photos. Includes scanning of the original and processing and manipulation of the scanned digital image.

As each restoration is individual, the price varies based on actual work required for each individual restoration job. For simplicity, we have broken the pricing for photo restorations into 3 bands:

• Light Restoration - from $60
• Medium Restoration - from $80
• Heavy Restoration - from $100

The pricing for Photo Restorations includes the photo restoration work, a digital image on CD, an A4 size glossy photo print and return nationwide postage.

Media Options

We provide a choice of media for your digital images to suit your needs and the number of images to be stored. CD’s and DVD’s include a printed label and storage case.

Note: number of images per disk/drive will vary based on file format and scanned resolution
 

Payment Method

We accept payment by cash or direct credit to our bank account. We will advise you of our bank account details with your order receipt confirmation.

Payment Terms

We require payment in full prior to delivery of your order. You are covered by our satisfaction guarantee.

Minimum Order Value

We have a minimum order value of $50.

Return Courier

We will return your valuable originals and the scanned digital media by tracked courier or Parcelpost. The cost of the return postage will be added to the total cost of your order (Note - return delivery included in our Photo Restoration prices).

The amount will vary depending on the size and weight of your materials. For packages that will fit in a standard courier bag, we charge a standard fee of $9.00 nationwide. Larger items and rural delivery will be more and we will advise prior to sending.

We're proud of what we do and we believe that you'll be happy with the results we produce. Specific results will vary based on the quality of the original materials but we're confident that we produce consistently high standards and stand by our work. If, however, you're not happy with the outcome, we'll work with you to resolve the problem.
